On theafternoon of June 19, Jingzhou Municipal People’s Government and ChinaChangjiang National Shipping Group Co., Ltd signed the strategic cooperationframe agreement to strengthen the strategic cooperation on major fields such asship building & repair, cruise ports on Yangtze River, dry bulk logistics,fuel supply, and clean energy.
Secretary Rui Zhang of CPC committee ofChina Changjiang National Shipping Group Co., Ltd, also the Chairman, and PartySecretary Zhi Yang of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee, also the Director of JingzhouMunicipal People's Congress attended the signing ceremony and deliveredspeeches. Vice Secretary Yonghui Cui of Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee,also the Mayor of Jingzhou, chaired the ceremony while Vice-General ManagerZhenhua Liu and Daoping Gong of China Changjiang National Shipping Group Co.,Ltd and Vice Mayor Bin Xiang of Jingzhou attended the event as well.

With a full length of 483 km ofYangtze River in Jingzhou, Menghua Railway national strategic transportationchannel and Yangtze River golden waterway converge here to form a new node hub alongthe Belt & Road. The strategic cooperation frame agreement signed betweenJingzhou and China Changjiang National Shipping Group Co., Ltd is a concreteembodiment as well as a vital measure to implement the important speech spiritof President Xi Jinping, which injects vigor to the construction of regionalhub ports. In the future, Jingzhou will actively explore cooperation modes andachieve the development under the circumstance of protection by realizinghigh-quality development via high-level cooperation so as to co-create a brilliantfuture of mutual benefit and win-win result.
